Position: Principal | Director
Elena is the Principal and Director of Analysis at BumiLink. She leads the analysis team responsible for fundamental analysis of geopolitical and industrial risks in Malaysia and Southeast Asia, focusing on regional risk assessment for the manufacturing, palm oil, and electronics industries. She spearheads the compilation of industry risk reports and customized analysis solutions for clients, analyzes policy changes and industrial relocation trends in Malaysia and Southeast Asia, provides clients with basic risk warnings and response recommendations, and is also responsible for the daily work arrangements and skills development of the analysis team.
Elena has seven years of relevant analytical experience. She previously worked as a research assistant at the International Relations Laboratory of the University of Malaya, participating in a geopolitical risk research project on the Malaysian palm oil industry. She holds a Master's degree in International Relations and a Bachelor's degree in International Economics and Trade from the University of Malaya. She is proficient in using fundamental analytical tools, possesses strong writing and analytical skills, and is fluent in English and Malay.
